In another life everyone used Facebook events to plan get togethers and parties. It was great because everybody used Facebook.
Now they don't.
In today's world, we're drowning in messaging apps (looking at you Google). Everyone has their preferred way to communicate - some check email religiously, others send SMS messages, some use messenger or whatsapp, some only see Instagram DMs.
Planning events shouldn't mean forcing your friends to download yet another app or create yet another another account.
Furthermore, it shouldn't mean you–as an organizer–have to juggle several different messaging platfroms, sending updates and changes to all your friends wherever they may be, accidentally overbooking or underbooking...
Evee was born from these frustrations. Frustrations of putting together dinner parties, inviting folks to play board games, wondering if people are going to respond or can attend when you need a group to participate.
It's designed around a simple principle: meet people where they already are.
Whether your friend prefers email, texts, or carrier pigeons (okay, we're working on that last one), Evee helps you reach them through their preferred channel while also having only one place where you manage your event.

No ads. No tracking. No selling your "data".
This isn't a business. This is a tool. A tool help make people's lives easier.
I believe other alternatives to Evee built as a business inherently sacrifice quality, usability, or safety to make the business viable.
I think that quite often, software what would otherwise be great, useful tools for everyday people are more often hamstrung to make the business work.
That all said this is not indended for corporations or businesses to use for their events. I'm sure it isn't a big deal if you're just a coffee shop or something, but if you're a company please contact me so we can do this right and work out a deal that is fair for not just me and you, but the users.
